Group Urges Jonathan To Intensify Fight Against Corruption

President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration of not showing any sincere effort in tackling alleged corruption in various sectors in the country.
In a statement signed by the Executive Director, CISLAC, Auwal Musa, it stated that the present administration has not tackled the N225 million car scandal in the aviation sector, unchecked wasteful spending of public fund in the Security And Exchange Commission SEC and the N1 billion pension scam.
The organization further stated that the on-going agitation for the removal of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, as a result of his whistle blowing activity in exposing the eighteen billion dollar  corruption by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is another evidence unveiling the total support for corruption by the administration.

CISLAC recommended the National Assembly to begin an exhaustive and forensic investigation into the financial statement of the NNPC, between January 2012 to December 2013.
The organization also asked President Jonathan to make open the report of the presidential panel on the N225 million aviation industry car scandal.
