Governor Rewards Police Officer With House, N1million
The Governor of Ebonyi state, Martin Elechi, has rewarded
a Police Corporal from Nasarawa state with a brand new house and
N1million for intercepting a robbery attempt on a bank in 2009 while
serving as a police officer in Ebonyi state.
Mr
Elechi, who was in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital to hand over a
three bedroom flat constructed by the Ebonyi state government to the
corporal, stated that this was done in appreciation of the officer’s
exceptional commitment to duty.
